Granumas is a synthetic bioceramic-based bone graft calcium material phosphate (non-animal) chemically known as Hydroxyapatite. It is 99% identical to human bone mineral. Thus, requiring bone grafting procedures for Granumas is an innovative alternative bone graft in surgical applications non-load bearing in Orthopaedics, ENT, Dental and Maxillofacial. Hydroxyapatite is well known for its properties of biocompatible, bioactive and osteoconductive – i.e. enhance bone growth and bone bridging, as it acts as scaffold in any bone void/loss for bone healing.
Most of our clients are from dental and maxillofacial and also orthopaedics; which required bone grafting. For dental application, most of the surgeons prefer using granules (S, SM, M) 0.5 CC to 2 CC for their treatments. Meanwhile, Orthopaedics surgeons mostly used Cube, Chip, Granules (M, L, XL) 2 CC to 10 CC for their treatments. Our Pin shapes are specially made for orthopaedics spine surgery.
